SAAB SID 1 SID 2 dead pixel failure repairs - ribbon cable replacement

SAAB 9-3 9-5 SID1 and SID2 units, AC units all have the common dead / fading / disappearing pixels on the LCD display that shows the time, radio, and the on board computer messages and other functions.
